Small Group Self-Defense Classes in Boston

Some of our clients have friends or belong to a group that wants to engage in some form of self-defense training. These types of events may be different from our corporate offerings and services, in that the groups looking to train are less “formal” in their structure and are being funded by group members collectively, rather than from a corporation/business e.g., they may be church groups, groups of friends, and/or a group of parents looking for self-defense training for their teenage kids etc. Sometimes the goals are general e.g., equipping a group with some basic self-defense skills, and other times they may be specific, such as a church or religious group wanting to put on some form of active shooter training etc. When/where possible we try and work with such groups to meet their security and safety needs in an affordable and cost-efficient manner.

Usually, we advise doing such small group trainings at our facility located just north of Boston, as it is fully matted and offers a safe and controlled training environment, however where a particular context is specific and relevant e.g., active shooter training for a church or synagogue, it may make more sense to conduct the training on-site, as this is where a potential threat/danger would be experienced etc. Violence is contextual, and sometimes training in a particular location/context is important.

Small group self-defense training in and around Boston, does not have to be limited to one-off events or consist of on-going regular training e.g., it may make more logistical sense to train several small groups that constitute a larger group, and/or engage in a series of self-defense training events that build on each other, as part of a “course” etc. If you are looking to bring practical, proven and effective self-defense to a group you belong to, we are happy to work with you, both to help you define exactly what it is that you are looking for along with how this would meet your safety and security needs, along with making sure that any training provided would make logistical sense etc. If you are interested in self-defense training for a small group in the Boston, Massachusetts area, please use the contact form on our contact page to let us know how we can assist you.
